Mesh belt troubleshooting :
1: If the mesh belt deviates, adjust the tensioning shaft at one end of the driven shaft slowly. Do not adjust quickly to avoid scratching the edge of the mesh belt.
2: If the mesh belt shakes, check the conveyor frame and the rollers in the conveyor tunnel for rust and refusal to rotate, and adjust them one by one.
3: If the chain-driven mesh belt jumps and runs unsteadily, check whether the sprockets at both ends of the driving shaft are synchronized and whether the tooth ends are excessively worn. (Note: Please refer to the reference materials for precautions when the mesh belt is working)

 

Mesh belt purchasing guide
Spiral pitch: The mold positioned during the process of winding the spiral wire determines the spiral pitch. It can be said that the spiral pitch is the most important part of all spiral mesh belts, so it must be measured accurately.
Threading pitch: The distance between the threads of the spiral wire winding accessories. The spiral pitch and the threading pitch completely determine the weaving of the spiral mesh belt. Both are indispensable.
Spiral steel wire diameter: Select the diameter of the spiral steel wire of the steel wire material
Threading diameter: The threading diameter of the spiral wire winding. For the load-bearing, conveying capacity, and temperature resistance of the mesh belt, the choice of material determines the characteristics of the mesh belt.

Mesh belt life and environment
The service life of ordinary mesh belts is very short compared to stainless steel mesh belts, because our use environment is very complex, such as high temperature, corrosion and other environments. As we all know, the characteristics of stainless steel mesh belts are high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and high strength.
1. Use at ultra-high temperatures exceeding 400°C When
the mesh belt is working normally, the temperature rises due to the heat of the conveyed material, and the strength of the conveyor belt gradually decreases with the increase in temperature. The use limit of the stainless steel mesh belt will depend on the temperature generated by the friction between the material and the mesh belt and the temperature of the material. Please consult the stainless steel mesh belt manufacturer to see whether the temperature will affect the service life of the stainless steel mesh belt when it exceeds 400°C. Generally, the stainless steel mesh belt is resistant to high temperatures, so it will not affect its service life at 400°C, but due to different manufacturing processes, the service life of stainless steel mesh belts manufactured by different manufacturers is different.
When using stainless steel mesh belts under high temperature conditions, the following issues should also be considered:
a) The heat generated by friction during operation;
b) Due to different manufacturing processes, the thermal expansion coefficients of stainless steel mesh belts are different. When different materials are welded together, there is a possibility of thermal fatigue;
c) When the ambient temperature exceeds 400°C, the expansion between parts causes intermittent reduction, which should also be fully considered;
d) Creep;
e) Ordinary mesh belts are thermally brittle when working at high temperatures, and so are stainless steel mesh belts;
f) The brittleness of carbon precipitation;
g) The effect of temperature changes on the use of stainless steel mesh belts (cooling and expansion);
h) The effect of high temperature environment on lubrication. Silicon, graphite and molybdenum disulfide lubricants all have good heat resistance.
2. When the mesh belt is exposed to corrosive materials, adverse consequences will occur. First, the mesh belt parts will become thinner and thinner, resulting in accelerated wear. The rust on the ordinary mesh belt parts will also affect the flexible rotation of the stainless steel mesh belt hinges and rollers. When the stainless steel mesh belt continues to work in an acidic or alkaline environment, stress corrosion and crystal force corrosion will occur on the parts.
When using mesh belts in a corrosive environment, it is necessary to pay great attention to the selection of mesh belt parts materials. Whether the mesh belts made of martensitic stainless steel series will rust depends on the specific working environment. Mastering anti-corrosion technology is very useful for correctly using mesh belts in corrosive environments.
3. Using mesh belts in abrasive environments
Using mesh belts in abrasive environments will cause particularly severe wear. In order to ensure the service life of the mesh belt, it is necessary to pay attention to the following when using them:
a) You can avoid direct exposure of the mesh belt to abrasive materials by installing a chain cover;
b) When the mesh belt is exposed to abrasive materials, you must choose a suitable conveyor type;
c) Reduce the chain speed as much as possible;
d) To reduce the pressure of the hinge composed of the pin and sleeve of the mesh belt, please choose a larger mesh belt;
e) Please use grease lubricant.
